SMS Privacy Policy & Terms
This page describes how Esposto's Fine Foods, doing business as The Box Lunch Company ("we," "us," or "the Company"), handles mobile phone numbers and text (SMS) messages sent to employees and authorized users of our internal workforce portal. It contains two parts: our Privacy Policy for text messaging and our SMS Terms & Conditions.
1. Privacy Policy
Who this applies to
Our text message program is available only to employees and other authorized users who have an account in our internal workforce portal. It is not offered to the general public, and there is no public sign-up. Accounts are created and maintained by Company administrators.
Information we collect
Your name and work contact information, as maintained in your portal user account.
The mobile phone number you provide on your signed consent form.
Your signed consent form, and the date text notifications were turned on or off for you.
Records of messages we send you, including delivery status returned by our messaging provider.
How we use it
We use your mobile number solely to send you operational notifications related to your work — for example, orders, production and delivery schedules, client visits, and tasks assigned to you in the portal. We do not use text messaging for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates. Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who we share it with
We share your mobile number with our licensed messaging provider only to the extent needed to deliver the messages you have asked to receive, and with our software provider that hosts the workforce portal. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain your mobile number and messaging preference for as long as your portal account is active, and we retain opt-out records as long as necessary to honor your opt-out.
Your choices
Text messaging is off unless you ask for it in writing, and participation is voluntary — it is not a condition of employment. You may stop messages at any time by replying STOP, by turning the Texting Active setting off in your portal account preferences, by asking HR or IT, or by contacting it@boxlunch.net. You may use the same contacts to change or remove your mobile number, or to ask what information we hold about you.

2. SMS Terms & Conditions
Program description
The Box Lunch Company (Esposto's Fine Foods) sends operational text message notifications to employees and authorized users of our internal workforce portal.
Messages you can expect
Notifications about orders, production and delivery schedules, client visits, and tasks assigned to you, which may include a link to the relevant record in our workforce portal. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the activity assigned to you.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply.
How to opt in
Text notifications are off unless you ask for them. To opt in, request the Text Message (SMS) Notification — Consent Form from HR or IT, complete and sign it, and return it to HR, IT, or your supervisor. A signed form is the only way to sign up; we enable text notifications only after we receive it, and we never enable them on your behalf. Participation is voluntary and is not a condition of employment; if you choose not to take part, you will continue to receive the same notifications by email and in the portal.
How to opt out
You may stop text messages at any time, in any of these ways:
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation, and no further messages will be sent to that number.
Turn the Texting Active setting off in your account preferences in the portal.
Ask HR or IT, or email it@boxlunch.net.
Opting out of texts does not affect your email notifications, your portal access, or your employment.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Your information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy above. Mobile information and text messaging opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above will be updated.
